Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Harley-Davidson Parts Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorcycles, particularly the Harley-Davidson brand, and possess a strong knowledge of parts and accessories. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in identifying and selecting the right Harley-Davidson parts, accessories, and apparel based on their needs. Provide expert knowledge on Harley-Davidson motorcycle models, parts, and customization options. Accurately process parts orders, both in-store and via phone or online requests. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the parts department and inventory. Process incoming parts shipments and perform inventory checks. Coordinate with the Service Department to ensure parts availability for repairs and customizations. Handle returns and exchanges in a professional manner. Keep up-to-date with new Harley-Davidson products, tools, and accessories. Assist with pricing and promotions on parts and accessories as directed by management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a parts department, preferably with Harley-Davidson or other motorcycle brands. Strong knowledge of motorcycle parts and accessories, particularly Harley-Davidson products. Ability to identify and troubleshoot parts-related inquiries or issues. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license (Motorcycle endorsement is a plus but not required).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move parts and materials up to 50 lbs. Comfortable standing, walking, and assisting customers for extended periods. Occasional bending, kneeling, and reaching to retrieve parts from shelves.
