Parts and Service Coordinator
Job Description
We are searching for a Parts and Service Coordinator to provide onsite support for the Parts and Service Dispatch department of a gaming equipment manufacturer. This position is onsite, pays $20.00 per hour, and is contract-to-hire. This role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position begins as a temporary placement with the opportunity to convert to a permanent position within 90 to 120 days, along with a pay increase upon conversion. The specialist will manage parts orders, RMAs, and service dispatch within the company's ERP system while supporting customers by phone, web, and other channels. Responsibilities Provide best-in-class product support to all customers regarding gaming machines and hardware parts. Locate and order parts for all games and platforms using the company's ERP system, adhering to departmental SLAs. Accurately analyze, classify, track, investigate, research, and resolve parts and service support issues. Issue game and systems RMAs (Return Material Authorizations). Close out part orders and service tickets by entering data into the ERP system and meeting established deadlines. Communicate promptly and clearly with customers, technicians, and third-party providers to schedule and resolve service or parts issues. Follow proper escalation paths, coordinating with a supervisor, field service staff, or other departments to resolve problems within SLA. Assist in coordinating the resolution of service issues related to equipment repair. Prepare and maintain FAQs, knowledge articles, upgrade notes, and other support documentation. Dispatch service requests to field service technicians. Process and track service tickets. Answer incoming calls and provide professional customer support on a rotational basis. Handle customer issues with diplomacy, tact, and professionalism, escalating critical issues to management as needed. Prepare and share daily reports. Participate in discussions to improve service levels and the overall customer experience. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education, technical coursework, or a certification in a gaming-related field is a plus. 3+ years of experience in parts customer service or a technical help desk role. Order entry experience. Ability to obtain a gaming license. Strong attention to detail. Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Quick learner who adapts easily to new processes. Experience handling RMAs (Return Material Authorizations) preferred, not required. Experience in service dispatch preferred, not required. Strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
