Parts Associate Diesel Truck CTOS - Trucks & Equipment Cicero, NY Job Details $22 - $27 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Employee discount Life insurance Qualifications Vendor relationship building High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description Summary Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is seeking a Parts Associate to support our service department by sourcing, ordering, receiving, and managing parts inventory. This role is critical to ensuring technicians have the right parts available to complete repairs safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Responsibilities Research and identify parts needed for trucks, truck bodies, aerial equipment, and related systems. Quote, order, receive, and stock parts for service repair orders. Maintain accurate inventory levels and replenish stock items as needed. Create and maintain parts records, supplier information, and master inventory files. Develop and maintain relationships with OEM and aftermarket vendors. Research supplier pricing, availability, quality, and lead times to ensure cost-effective purchasing. Verify parts accuracy and application before issuing to repair orders. Follow up on backorders and communicate expected delivery dates. Support interbranch parts requests and assist with parts inquiries from other locations. Assist with annual physical inventory counts. Stay current on new products, equipment updates, and industry trends. Qualifications Previous experience in parts purchasing, inventory control, or warehouse operations. Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, utility equipment, hydraulics, electrical systems, or related equipment preferred. Strong computer skills with the ability to learn ERP and inventory management systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license required. Schedule Monday through Friday, Day Shift 8am - 4:30pm Additional hours and overtime as needed to meet business demands Working Conditions Primarily performed in a parts department, warehouse, or shop environment. May be exposed to varying temperatures, noise, dust, fumes, and typical shop conditions. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to work safely in a warehouse and shop environment.
