In this role you will assist walk-in customers, handle inbound calls, and supply our on-site technicians with the exact components they need to perform vehicle repairs.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service:
Greet customers, determine their needs, and provide expert advice on auto parts, accessories, and warranty options.
Inventory Management:
Track, receive, unpack, and store incoming parts, ensuring accurate stock levels.
Order Processing:
Source and order parts, coordinate with suppliers, and provide accurate estimates on shipping and arrival times.
Technician Support:
Fulfill parts requests for the service shop, ensuring Technicians have what they need to make the repair go smoothly.
Sales:
Suggest companion products and promote current specials to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Previous automotive parts, dealership, or counter sales experience is preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify parts and navigate industry software/catalogs.
Communication:
Excellent active listening and communication skills to interpret customer/technician needs.
Detail-Oriented:
