• We are seeking an efficient, detail-oriented Automotive Parts Specialist to manage parts inventory, support our service technicians, and assist retail and wholesale customers. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, solid knowledge of automotive systems, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service:

Assist retail counter customers, body shops, and independent repair facilities in identifying, pricing, and ordering the correct OEM replacement parts.

Technician Support:

Process internal parts requisitions promptly to keep shop repair workflow running efficiently.

Inventory Management:

Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming shipments; conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory tracking.

Cataloging & Sourcing:

Utilize GM electronic parts catalogs (EPC) and cataloging software to look up part numbers, cross-reference supersessions, and source out-of-stock items.

Logistics & Orders:

Prepare parts for shipment or local delivery, process returns/core exchanges, and track special orders. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2 years automotive parts experience required. Prior experience in automotive parts counter sales, parts logistics, or inventory control (GM/Chevrolet experience preferred). Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) such as Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK Global, or similar. Strong communication skills and basic mechanical knowledge. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay:

From $55,000.00 per year
