Shipping / Receiving Clerk We are seeking a dependable and organized Parts Assistant to support our daily operations. This position plays an important role in keeping our equipment and shop operations running efficiently by maintaining inventory, sourcing parts, assisting mechanics, and keeping the parts department organized. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working around heavy equipment and a fast-paced shop environment. Who is IX? Your Responsibilities :

Receive, inspect, identify, and properly store incoming parts and supplies. Maintain an organized and accurate parts inventory. Assist mechanics and technicians in locating and obtaining parts. Research parts using equipment manuals, part numbers, and online manufacturer resources. Assist with ordering parts and tracking shipments, backorders, and deliveries. Maintain accurate records of parts purchased, received, issued, and returned. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain parts and pricing. Process returns for incorrect, damaged, or unused parts. Keep the parts room, storage areas, and surrounding work areas clean and organized. Assist with loading and unloading parts and materials. Help maintain parts for excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, trucks, and other construction equipment. Communicate effectively with mechanics, operators, supervisors, vendors, and suppliers. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform additional parts, inventory, and shop-related duties as needed. Do you have what it takes? Previous parts, automotive, diesel, construction, or heavy-equipment experience is a plus. Dependable and punctual, with a positive attitude. Valid driver's license. Basic computer skills Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods. Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills. Able to obtain forklift certification. Why IX?
