Job description Automotive Parts Counter Person Job Responsibilities Full Time or Part Time Position Available Washington Hyundai has an immediate need for Automotive Parts Counter Person with highly competitive compensation. We are looking to add to our growing team. The Automotive Parts Counter Person is responsible for looking up and ordering parts and required components needed to perform maintenance and repairs on Hyundai vehicles along with Pre-Owned Vehicles. In addition, you will have a key technical sales role in dealing directly with customers at times.

Specific Duties:

• Look up parts for technicians.
• Answer telephones for outside parts sales
• Wait on customers at our parts counter
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Assist in putting away inventory orders and keeping current inventory orderly and neat.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.

Specific Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year in automotive parts counter experience required.
• Hyundai experience a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
• Outgoing personality with experience in developing relationships
• Work in a fast-paced environment, are organized, and can manage your time
• Proficient computer skills
• Must have valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
