This unique opportunity begins with a combination of Parts Stock Clerk and Parts Advisor responsibilities through October , providing valuable hands-on experience with our inventory, dealership operations, and manufacturer systems before transitioning into a full-time Parts Advisor role. Parts Stock Responsibilities (Through October) Receive, inspect, unload, and verify incoming parts shipments. Stock, organize, and maintain parts inventory for maximum efficiency. Pull and stage parts for service technicians and internal departments. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment. Process returns, cores, and warranty parts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts warehouse. Assist with occasional local parts deliveries when needed. Parts Advisor Responsibilities (Transitioning to Full-Time) Assist retail, wholesale, and internal customers in identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts. Answer incoming phone calls and provide parts pricing, availability, and product information. Order parts from manufacturers and vendors while managing backorders and special orders. Prepare parts for customer pickup, delivery, or shipment. Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely and accurate parts delivery for vehicle repairs. Process customer returns and credits according to dealership policies. Maintain accurate inventory records using dealership software. Keep current on manufacturer products, parts catalogs, and dealership procedures. Deliver exceptional customer service to every customer—whether in person, over the phone, or within the dealership. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. Previous automotive parts department experience OR above-average automotive knowledge is required. Customer service or automotive sales experience is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a positive, team-first attitude. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dealership software. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
