This is a high-volume, extremely fast-paced parts counter. On any given day, you'll be helping customers -at the counter, over the phone, through text, and email, looking up parts, handling special orders, and keeping multiple requests moving at the same time. If you enjoy staying busy, know your way around motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, marine, or other mechanical parts, and can provide great customer service without sacrificing speed or accuracy, this could be a great fit. Lone Star Powersports are a family-owned group of six powersports dealerships across Texas and New Mexico. We represent leading brands including Can-Am, Indian, Polaris, Honda, Yamaha, and KTM and are looking for someone who wants to become a strong part of our Amarillo team.

What You'll Do:

Assist customers at a high-volume parts counter with parts, accessories, and product questions Quickly and accurately identify the correct parts based on customer needs, vehicle information, parts diagrams, and electronic catalogs Help customers select and purchase parts and accessories for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports vehicles Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally while assisting customers at the counter Provide accurate information regarding parts availability, pricing, ordering, and expected arrival Manage multiple customers, phone calls, and orders while maintaining accuracy and professional customer service Create and manage special orders for parts that are not currently in stock Track incoming orders and communicate with customers regarding order status Maintain accurate customer and transaction information within dealership systems Use parts manuals, electronic catalogs, schematics, and dealership software to identify correct part numbers and applications Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate inventory records Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized parts counter and work area Build relationships with customers and help create repeat business Work closely with the Parts, Service, and Sales teams to keep dealership operations moving efficiently Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

Powersports, automotive, marine, motorcycle, or parts-counter experience is strongly preferred. We're especially interested in candidates who have: Experience in parts sales, parts lookup, retail sales, or customer service Knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, automotive, marine, or other mechanical equipment The ability to learn and navigate electronic parts catalogs, diagrams, and inventory systems Strong computer skills and the ability to learn dealership software Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail — the right part matters The ability to accurately document orders, customer information, and transactions Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude The ability to stay organized while handling multiple priorities Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic A positive, team-oriented attitude Most importantly, you must be comfortable working at a very fast pace. Our Amarillo parts counter can get extremely busy. The right person can prioritize, multitask, communicate clearly, and stay accurate even when customers are waiting and phones are ringing. Compensation Pay:

$40-50k annually, hourly + commission and based on experience Why Lone Star Powersports? How many years of experience do you have working in powersports, automotive, marine, motorcycle, or parts sales? Do you have experience using electronic parts catalogs, parts diagrams, schematics, or inventory systems to identify and locate parts? Do you have experience in a customer-facing sales or service position that required assisting customers both in person and by phone? This is an extremely fast-paced parts counter where you may be assisting an in-person customer while phones are ringing and other customer requests are waiting. Briefly describe your experience working in a similar high-volume environment. Briefly describe your experience or personal knowledge with motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, powersports, automotive, marine, or other mechanical equipment.
