Automotive Parts Dismantler Pay:

$14/16 per hour

Job Type:

Full-Time. Part tkme We are looking for a dependable, hard-working Automotive Parts Dismantler to help process vehicles for our used auto parts operation. This is a hands-on position. Your primary responsibility will be dismantling vehicles, cleaning and preparing usable parts, labeling them correctly, and organizing them into designated storage totes.

Responsibilities:

• Safely remove usable parts from vehicles
• Disassemble vehicles efficiently without unnecessarily damaging parts
• Clean removed parts and prepare them for inventory
• Label parts accurately
• Organize parts into designated totes and storage areas
• Keep hardware and related components together
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Identify damaged or unusable parts
• Help keep the dismantling and inventory process moving efficiently

What We're Looking For:

• Basic automotive/mechanical knowledge
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools
• Able to work independently and stay productive
• Organized and able to follow an inventory system
• Dependable and shows up on time
• Able to perform physical work throughout the day
• Takes care when removing parts that will be resold Professional dismantling experience is not required.

Automotive repair, mechanic, salvage yard, body shop, or general mechanical experience is a plus. We're looking for someone who takes pride in getting work done, keeps things organized, and understands that the parts being removed are inventory that will eventually be sold.
