Overview Join our dynamic team as a Parts Specialist, where you'll be at the forefront of automotive parts management and customer service excellence. Duties Assist customers in identifying, locating, and selecting automotive parts and accessories, providing expert advice based on vehicle systems and mechanical troubleshooting. Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts shelves using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) software. Process sales transactions accurately through cash handling, retail math calculations, and POS systems while ensuring excellent customer service. Collaborate with the service team to fulfill orders efficiently, ensuring timely order fulfillment and stock replenishment. Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, upselling automotive repair services, and providing product recommendations tailored to client needs. Maintain detailed records of parts sales, inventory levels, and order histories using organizational tools like Microsoft Office applications. Support dealership operations by participating in inventory audits, stock rotation, and implementing inventory management best practices to minimize discrepancies. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive parts sales or dealership environments with a solid understanding of automotive parts and accessories. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, automotive repair processes, and diagnostic procedures to assist customers effectively. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus) to serve diverse customer bases confidently. Proficiency with inventory management software such as CMMS or similar tools; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for record keeping and reporting. Demonstrated ability in retail sales management, negotiation skills, and customer relationship building to enhance client satisfaction. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, vehicle maintenance procedures, and automotive service workflows. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professional phone etiquette for customer inquiries via phone or in person. Organizational skills necessary for stocking, order fulfillment, inventory control, and maintaining a clean work environment.
