This position emphasizes excellent customer service, adherence to department guidelines, and a solutions-oriented mindset to meet customer needs effectively. Reporting Structure The Parts Specialist will report directly to the Shop Manager. Additionally, the Parts Specialist will also expected to interface with other management, including the leaders of the different business divisions. Essential Functions & Major Accountabilities Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external customers. Follow all parts department guidelines and procedures. Exhibit a service-first mentality with a thorough understanding of customer needs. Check in morning deliveries and ensure parts are stored in their proper bin locations. Notify customers when their orders are complete. Maintain a well-stocked and organized showroom, adhering to company guidelines. Build and nurture relationships with customers while offering additional solutions. Provide timely follow-up with internal and external customers. Collaborate with management on monthly promotions and initiatives. Perform housekeeping tasks, such as taking out trash, sweeping, stocking restrooms, and keeping the workspace organized. Communicate effectively with the manager, colleagues, customers, and vendors. Requirements - Knowledge, Skills & Accountabilities Advanced knowledge of truck parts identification. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines with a solution-focused mindset. Demonstrates urgency and ownership to drive tasks and projects to completion. Positive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities. Professional communication skills and demeanor. Education/Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and other relevant computer systems is essential.
