Kennewick business is currently looking for a parts/warehouse associate. Parts/warehouse associate will work in a shop and office environment. This position plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the parts department, ensuring that all parts — whether company stock or job-specific orders — are properly received, organized, picked, staged, and dispatched in a timely and accurate manner. This position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-organized warehouse environment. The Specialist also serves as a direct point of contact for in-house and on-site customers requesting parts and is responsible for conducting regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

Full-Time Key Responsibilities Picking & Staging Accurately pick parts from inventory based on pick slips or requests. Stage picked parts in designated areas, organized and ready for delivery, installation, or customer pickup. Verify part numbers, quantities, and condition against pick documentation prior to staging. Coordinate staging of job-specific parts to ensure they are available and correctly allocated to the right job or customer. Cleaning & Organization Clean and inspect parts upon receiving to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment using the "5S" method. Organize parts storage areas, shelving, and bins to support efficient picking and accurate inventory placement. Label and sort parts correctly to minimize picking errors and reduce time spent locating items. Loading & Unloading Unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or packing slips. Inspect inbound parts for damage and report discrepancies to the procurement or supervisor team. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other material handling equipment as required. Parts Returns Process the return of parts to vendors or inventory in accordance with company procedures. Inspect returned parts to assess condition and determine whether items are suitable for restocking. Communicate return status to the procurement team. Customer Parts Fulfillment (In-House & Onsite) Respond promptly and professionally to parts requests from in-house staff including technicians, project managers, and supervisors. Fulfill parts requests for onsite customers, ensuring correct parts are identified, pulled, and handed off accurately. Confirm part specifications with the requestor when necessary to avoid incorrect picks. Cycle Counting & Inventory Accuracy Perform scheduled cycle counts of inventory in accordance with the cycle count schedule. Record count results accurately and reconcile any variances with inventory system records. Maintain a working knowledge of inventory locations and part categorization to support count accuracy. Qualifications Required Ability to read and interpret pick slips, work orders, packing slips, and purchase orders. Basic computer skills; ability to navigate inventory or ERP systems for part lookups and transaction entry. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in picking, staging, and counting. Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods. Driver's License (Required) Preferred Experience with ERP or inventory management software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Fishbowl, or similar). Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire. Experience conducting cycle counts and reconciling inventory variances. Familiarity with parts identification, part numbering systems, or technical components relevant to the company's industry. Experience in a customer-facing warehouse or counter sales environment.
