Alan Webb Nissan has an opening for a full-time Automotive Parts Advisor. We are seeking a friendly, motivated, knowledgably person to add to our team.

Responsibilities:

Provide a professional demeanor, use your parts knowledge and skills to answer customer questions, and always provide outstanding customer service Have a good working knowledge of auto parts and their general placement and purpose on a vehicle Provide customers with necessary problem/solution information Coordinate with technicians & service advisors regarding necessary parts Provide updates on special order and back-order parts and promptly notify the customer or service department of its arrival Working with the parts team, you will help in minimizing customer parts returns, delayed repairs in our shop and help maintain minimal obsolete parts by proper parts specifying Everyone in the department shares duties, including shipping and receiving, stocking, and maintaining accurate parts inventory in a clean, safe workplace Cashier customers for parts and cash payments for service Answer parts department phone calls Maintain the company's standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and community relations Be a brand and dealer advocate Meet minimum performance standards Attend regular parts department meetings

Requirements:

Parts experience High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 years parts advisor experience Basic automotive knowledge A desire and drive to be successful with a positive attitude Ability to communicate suitably through email, phone, and in person Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously You must be able to lift 50 lbs. and spend long periods standing Good reading, math and computer skills CDK experience is a plus but not a requirement Chevrolet experience is a plus but not a requirement Must have a valid driver's license Must pass a drug test Compensation & Benefits Competitive base pay plus commission Medical, Vision and Dental programs Retirement programs Paid vacation Paid holidays
