Job Description
Job Summary The Administrative Analyst is responsible for supporting purchasing, sales order processing, and pricing administration activities within the company's ERP system. This role enters and maintains sales orders, updates customer and supplier pricing, monitors purchasing data, and helps ensure accurate system information for purchasing, sales, accounting, and operations. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and comfortable working with ERP systems, pricing data, vendor information, and cross-functional teams. Duties
- Enter, review, and maintain sales orders in the ERP system to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Update customer pricing, supplier pricing, cost records, item information, and related master data in the ERP system.
- Review price changes, contract updates, vendor communications, and customer pricing requests for accuracy before entry.
- Coordinate with purchasing, sales, customer service, accounting, and operations teams to resolve order, pricing, and data discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate supplier, customer, item, and purchasing records to support order fulfillment and reporting needs.
- Assist with purchase order creation, order follow-up, supplier communication, and documentation as needed.
- Analyze purchasing and pricing data to identify discrepancies, trends, cost changes, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support pricing audits by comparing ERP pricing, supplier price lists, customer agreements, invoices, and purchase order information.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and summaries related to purchasing activity, pricing updates, sales orders, cost changes, and supplier performance.
- Communicate professionally with internal departments, customers, and suppliers regarding order status, pricing updates, and documentation needs.
- Help maintain compliance with company purchasing procedures, approval requirements, and data integrity standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in purchasing, order entry, pricing administration, supply chain, customer service, or ERP data maintenance preferred.
- Prior experience working in an ERP system is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to enter and verify data accurately.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and working with large data sets.
- Ability to identify discrepancies, research issues, and follow through to resolution.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of pricing, customer, supplier, and company information.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:
