If your perfect day includes a wagging tail, a full sample tray, and convincing a stranger that yes, their dog deserves the good stuff, we should talk. Grandma Lucy's is looking for a Brand Ambassador in Orange County/Los Angeles to bring our food and treats to life in the stores that carry them — part-time, and basically paid to do what you'd do anyway. About Us Since 1999, Grandma Lucy's has believed a healthy pet starts with real, whole food — not fillers, not shortcuts. Every recipe is built around ingredients chosen for a specific health benefit, because we think pets deserve to eat their way to better health. Independent pet retailers are where most shoppers first discover us, and that's exactly where you'd come in. The Role As a Brand Ambassador, you're the friendly face of Grandma Lucy's inside your local pet stores — the person staff and shoppers actually remember. You'll train store teams, keep our shelf presence looking sharp, run demos and events, and pass along what you're seeing on the ground. It's local, it's part-time, and it's built for someone who already can't walk past a pet store without going in. What You'll Do In-store staff training and product education, turning store teams into confident Grandma Lucy's fans Set, POS, and display upkeep, so our shelf presence looks as good as the food is for the dogs eating it Demos and events that put treats in mouths and smiles on faces (the human kind too) Sample execution once a store's approved it, getting product into paws that will actually use it Field reporting on out-of-stocks, what's moving, and what the competition is doing What a Work Week Looks Like Expect a flexible, part-time schedule built around [Hours/Week] hours a week around the OC/LA area. Some days mean training staff at a favorite local shop; others mean running a weekend demo with a line of dogs (and their people) waiting for a sample. You'll spend your time in stores, not behind a desk, so if you'd rather be moving than sitting still, this fits. What We're Looking For A real love of dogs (cats too, we don't discriminate) — bonus points if you talk to other people's pets before their owners Comfortable striking up a conversation with store staff and shoppers alike Reliable and organized enough to manage your own schedule without a manager looking over your shoulder Retail, merchandising, or pet industry experience helps, but isn't required A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds — bags of food don't carry themselves Comfortable being on your feet and moving around a store for a few hours at a stretch What You'll Get An employee discount on the food and treats you'll be recommending Paid training before your first store visit Mileage reimbursement for local travel between stores A flexible, part-time schedule that works with the rest of your life A front-row seat to a lot of very good dogs
