As an Event Supervisor, you will play a critical role in upholding our reputation by ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property.
Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of event security planning, including staffing, access control, credentialing, ingress/egress strategy, and emergency response planning. Serve as the primary point of contact for the venue and client partners on all event security matters. Develop and implement event-specific post orders and operational plans in collaboration with clients, local law enforcement, and emergency services. Recruit, train, and supervise a team of event security officers and supervisors, ensuring readiness for each scheduled event. Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings; analyze operational effectiveness and recommend improvements. Maintain accurate scheduling and deployment records to ensure compliance with labor and licensing laws. Ensure staff are following licensing and certification requirements specific to event security. Oversee incident documentation and report generation; manage on-site response to incidents including altercations, medical emergencies, and crowd control situations. Promote and enforce all safety and customer service standards in alignment with client and company expectations. Monitor and assess potential vulnerabilities and risks for each event, coordinate mitigation strategies. Collaborate with internal HR and Compliance teams regarding employee performance, training needs, and corrective actions. Ensure operational excellence and cost efficiency in event security delivery.
Requirements:
Be at least 21 years old (age requirements may vary depending on local regulations). Current valid CA security license required. Authorization to work in the U.S. High school education or equivalent (GED) Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement supervisory experience of at least 2 years or more Excellent customer service is always your top priority. Effective oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office. Must be accountable and possess the ability to hold subordinate officers accountable. Leadership or management experience required. Must be personable and have soft skills.
