We are hiring two full-time Auction Listing & Front Desk Associates for our Bolingbrook location at 1000 W Crossroads Pkwy, Suite H&I, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. This is an entirely on-site, cross-trained position. Applicants may state a preference for auction listing or front desk work, but must be willing to perform both assignments as needed. Schedule and pay Full-time, 40 paid hours per week Five fixed 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. shifts, including a paid 30-minute meal period Two fixed days off assigned by management Weekend and holiday availability is strongly preferred but is not an automatic disqualifier $17-$22 per hour, based on qualifications Paid biweekly; paid training Raises reviewed every six months based on performance and experience; not guaranteed Auction listing responsibilities Inspect merchandise and accurately determine product condition Match the item and package contents to product information displayed in our software Photograph products and create accurate listings on our auction website using a phone and company software Organize listed merchandise and place medium-sized boxes onto shelving Meet daily production standards based on the assigned program: 250 LPN items, 175 medium items, or 100 large/bulk items Maintain accuracy and avoid listing errors that can cost the company money Front desk and warehouse responsibilities Retrieve customer orders and help load purchases into vehicles Process in-store returns and refunds; no cash, deposits, credit cards, or customer accounts are handled Answer customer questions by phone, email, and online message Inspect, photograph, list, and organize merchandise as needed Use a pallet jack; forklift experience is preferred but not required Sweep, clean, and organize the front desk, auction floor, and warehouse Qualifications At least 18 years old High school diploma or GED Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship English communication required; Spanish is preferred Basic computer, typing, photography, and email skills Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license No prior eBay, warehouse, retail, or customer-service experience is required; we can train the right person Pallet-jack experience is helpful but can be trained; forklift experience is a plus Accuracy, productivity, customer service, reliability, and attention to detail are essential Physical and work environment Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 75 pounds, with reasonable accommodation where applicable Standing and walking for most of an eight-hour shift Warehouse is not heated or air-conditioned Exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, and outdoor loading conditions Employees do not need to purchase special safety clothing or equipment Benefits 401(k) participation available immediately with company matching up to 3% Employee discount begins immediately Employee-paid health coverage may be available; after one year, a company contribution of up to 50% may be considered based on performance and is not guaranteed No PTO or paid holidays Hiring process This position reports to the General Manager and starts immediately. Selected candidates complete two in-person interviews, including a practical product-matching, condition, photography, and sample-listing exercise. A resume is optional. Two employer references are collected during the interview. A background check and drug test are required after a conditional offer.
