This is a part-time position with the potential of a full-time role in the future. Work week would initially consist of three scheduled eight hour days. Eldred's is New England's oldest antiques and fine art auction house. We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to work in our warehouse and exhibirtion space. This is a fast-paced environment that requires the employee to be aware and alert at all times. It is a highly rewarding job for the right individual.

Core Responsibilities:

Assist the photography department in catalog photo shoots. Assist in basic auction preparation including removal of items from the warehouse and setting up auction previews. Assist the appraisal staff with local house calls to remove property from homes.

Requirements:

High School or equivalent diploma. A valid driver's license. The ability to move heavy objects and remain on one's feet for multiple hours at a time. Personal accountability and a willingness to work in team-based collaborative environment. Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Word and Excel. The availability for occasional overnight travel. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of related experience, but we will train the right person. Salary starts at $20 per hour with available bonus pay and overtime.
