As a part-time Brand Ambassador, you bring our brand to life every day! Your goal is to provide everyone who comes into the store with an amazing experience, making AEO the happiest place to shop. You will create genuine connections, helping customers find their own unique look. You are the voice and face of our Company to our guests. You love the products and are passionate about building brand loyalty with every guest. Most of all, you represent our Company values and bring your REAL self to work every day.BRAND AMBASSADOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Engage and connect with customers to create an amazing shopping experience Outfit our guests by suggesting key looks and incorporating the latest trends and current promotions Drive brand loyalty by being knowledgeable about all AEO loyalty programs and educating our guests about the benefits Achieve and exceed sales goals by executing our selling strategy Promote awareness and growth of AEO brands by introducing guests to additional brand channels (AE/Aerie/Offline/Digital) Proactively resolve guest concerns in a manner consistent with our Company policies, with guest satisfaction in mind; partner with the store leadership team on elevated guest issues Provide support to fellow associates through sharing of knowledge, helping to complete tasks, and assisting with guest interactions Perform register transactions efficiently, accurately, and with integrity to uphold asset protection policies Process merchandise returns/exchanges courteously and under Company guidelines Leverage Company tools and technology to confidently provide guests with product knowledge which will enhance guest engagement and maximize sales Maintain brand standards by assisting in daily store recovery, before, during, and after store operating hours while remaining focused on guests Execute efficient handling of all merchandise from shipment processing, floorset directives, markdown actions, and replenishment Report to work as scheduled and record time worked accurately Maintain a safe work environment and report any potential hazards to store leadership Uphold Company values by contributing to a positive work environment Understand and adhere to all Company policies and procedures located in the AEO Associate Handbook Perform additional responsibilities as assigned Updated June 2023QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 16 years old Previous retail experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills specifically with guests, store leadership, and associates Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment Ability to perform all Essential Job Functions Proficient with technologyPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift between 15-50 pounds at time Climbing ladders to re-stock and obtain merchandise and or use a step stool Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as needed Ability to stand for long periods of time in a retail space Ability to continually walk, frequently push/pull, occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/reach above shoulders/ and kneel AEO is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to complying with all federal and provincial equal employment opportunity and human rights laws.
