About Sal's Pizza Sal's Pizza is a family-owned and operated pizza company with a passion for serving quality food and bringing our products to our communities. We are expanding our retail presence and are looking for a friendly, outgoing Retail Product Sampling Representative to help introduce customers to our jarred Sal's Pizza sauces at select Market Basket locations. About the Role As a Retail Product Sampling Representative, you will represent Sal's Pizza inside designated Market Basket locations by offering customers samples of our retail sauces. You will prepare and serve small samples of our sauces with bread for dipping, engage with customers, answer basic questions about the products, and encourage customers to try our different varieties. The goal of this position is to increase awareness of Sal's Pizza retail sauces, create a positive experience for customers, and drive sales at the store level.

Sal's Pizza Marinara Sauce Sal's Traditional Marinara Sauce Sal's Vodka Sauce This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part-time work. Previous food service or customer-facing experience is a plus, but no prior experience is required. This position could be a great fit for a college student, parent, retiree, or anyone looking for additional part-time hours. What You'll Do Represent the Sal's Pizza brand in a friendly and professional manner Set up and operate a product sampling station inside designated Market Basket locations Heat and prepare Sal's Pizza sauces according to provided instructions Serve customers small samples of sauce with bread for dipping Engage with customers and encourage them to try our different sauce varieties Answer basic questions about Sal's Pizza products Help increase product awareness and retail sales Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sampling area Follow all food safety and Market Basket sampling guidelines Provide a positive customer experience while representing Sal's Pizza Schedule & Flexibility We understand that everyone's availability is different, so we are flexible with both scheduling and store locations based on candidate availability and business needs.

Ideal sampling shifts may include:

10:00 AM - 1:00 PM 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM You may work one or both shifts at a location depending on your availability and scheduling needs. The position is expected to be approximately 6 hours per day and up to 24 hours per week, although the schedule may vary. Training & Support Sal's Pizza will provide everything you need to be successful in this role! Training will be provided All necessary sampling tools and supplies will be provided A Sal's Pizza team member will assist with the initial in-store setup You will receive guidance on product preparation and sampling procedures What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing personality Comfortable approaching and speaking with customers Reliable and punctual Professional and positive attitude Comfortable standing and interacting with customers for extended periods Able to follow food preparation and safety instructions Able to work independently once trained Previous food service, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required Why Join Sal's Pizza?
