Weekends / Event-Based Japonuts is looking for energetic, dependable Brand Ambassadors to represent our brand at festivals, markets, pop-ups, and community events throughout the Houston area. This is a customer-facing sales role for someone who is outgoing, comfortable engaging with customers, and motivated to help the team hit event sales goals. What You'll Do Greet and actively engage customers Introduce customers to Japonuts and explain our menu Recommend products, bundles, and add-ons to increase sales Take orders and process payments Package and serve donuts, onigiri, drinks, and other menu items Help the team achieve event sales targets Restock products and supplies throughout the event Keep the booth clean, organized, and visually appealing Assist with event setup and breakdown Represent Japonuts professionally and enthusiastically Requirements Must be available to work weekends Must be able to work the ENTIRE scheduled event , including setup and breakdown when scheduled Dependable and punctual — event shifts cannot be left early Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable approaching customers Sales-minded and motivated by hitting goals Able to work quickly during high-volume events Comfortable standing for extended periods Able to lift and move event supplies as needed Reliable transportation to events throughout Houston and surrounding areas Food service, retail, sales, hospitality, or event experience is a plus Compensation $16.50/hour + pooled tips + commission based on event sales targets Brand Ambassadors have the opportunity to earn additional compensation when the team meets or exceeds designated sales targets. Sales goals and applicable commission/bonus amounts will be communicated before each event.
