Let's Give It a Purpose. Bilingual Client Engagement Specialist —
Estate Planning, Business Law & Trust Administration Firm:
Legal NorCal P.C.
Location:
Onsite, Chico California.
Compensation:
$100 K + (Base Compensation + Incentives) Let's Be Honest You've sold plenty of things in your career. Maybe some of it felt good. Maybe some of it didn't. Either way, you know how to build trust fast, read a room, and close — for real, not with a script. At Legal NorCal, you'll still be selling. You'll still be closing. But the thing you're selling actually matters: peace of mind for families protecting what they've built, and clarity for business owners navigating decisions that shape their future. This isn't about pushing a product. It's about guiding people through some of the most important — and most avoided — decisions of their lives, and getting paid well for doing it right. About This Role The Client Engagement Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for sales, lead follow-up, and client experience for our estate planning, business law, and trust administration practice. This role does require an understanding of estate planning work product — you don't need to have sold it before, but you do need to know what a trust, a pour-over will, and a funded estate plan actually are. A track record of handling big price points and sensitive conversations with maturity matters just as much. We'll train you on the sales side. What we can't train is the trust and estates knowledge you'll already bring — or the ability to genuinely care about people who are thinking about mortality, family, and legacy — and to help them move from "we should really get this done" to "let's do this." What You'll Be Doing Conducting initial consultations to sell estate planning, business law, and trust administration services. Owning the full sales process, start to finish — no script-reading required. Following up with prospective clients who haven't yet retained us, without being pushy or forgettable. Overseeing a smooth handoff of new clients to the legal team Maintaining a tracking system for leads, new clients, and referral sources Talking with real people about mortality, money, and family — with tact, warmth, and zero awkwardness
Who You Are Preferred:
You're a paralegal with trust and estates experience, or an attorney with a trust and estates background looking to put those skills to work in a different way. Either way, you understand what an estate plan actually is and can speak to it with real credibility.
Preferred:
You are fluent in both English and Spanish, enabling to effectively communicate with diverse clients and teams. You have a proven record of sales success, ideally with big price points or complex, high-consideration decisions. You build relationships and trust quickly, and you're comfortable with emotionally sensitive conversations. You communicate exceptionally well — in person, on the phone, and in writing. You think on your feet and don't get rattled when a conversation goes sideways. You're organized enough to manage a pipeline without someone checking in on you. You're tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and processes. You treat a Friday-afternoon call with the same care as a Monday-morning one. Real-life perspective — your own "battle scars" or a major life change you've navigated — is a genuine asset here, not a liability. What You Get Competitive base plus a bonus/incentive structure that rewards results. Real training — we teach you the sales process and how we run client engagement, start to finish. A firm that trusts adults to manage themselves and hits the brakes on micromanagement. A tight-knit, no-drama team that's growing fast. The chance to help clients walk away better off than when they came in — every time.

You'd rather work alone than as part of a team — we're big believers in the team. You get discouraged the moment a plan doesn't go perfectly. You're looking for a low-effort job with long meetings and low expectations. Do Apply If... You believe sales, done right, is a service to the person on the other side of the table. You want your work to mean something beyond the commission. You can hold space for a hard conversation and still guide it toward a decision.
