Madera, CA Direct-Hire $110.00 - $115000.00 Onsite Job Description

Position Overview Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Right of Way Agent to join their client's team onsite in Madera County. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and acquiring easements and rights-of-way, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and maintaining positive relationships with property owners and stakeholders. Responsibilities

Research property ownership and maintain accurate easement and right-of-way records.

Prepare, review, and file easement and right-of-way documents, including legal descriptions and drawings.

Negotiate and acquire easements directly with property owners, resolving any issues or concerns.

Submit and manage permit applications with local, state, and federal agencies, including BLM, USFS, BIA, National Park Service, and county agencies.

File and record easements, permits, and related documents with the appropriate agencies.

Serve as a company Notary Public for easements, contracts, and rights-of-way.

Collaborate with engineering staff to confirm property lines, existing easements, and project details.

Communicate project notifications and updates to property owners and stakeholders.

Prepare regular status reports for management and maintain up-to-date records and files.

Assist with utility relocations, cable verifications, and easement coverage reviews.

Foster positive working relationships with property owners, contractors, and government agencies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, preferably in land surveying, real estate, law, or a related field.

Knowledge of real estate law, easements, and rights-of-way, including permitting processes of agencies.

Functional knowledge of CAD/GIS software and proficiency in reading OSP engineering schematics and construction prints.

Notary Public certification.

Valid Driver's License with no restrictions.

Required Work Hours Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Salary $80,000 - $120,000 per year Benefits
