Duties Manage all aspects of leasing including showing apartments, processing applications, and executing lease or rental agreements with prospective tenants. Oversee property operations, including property maintenance coordination, facilities management, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law. Utilize property management software AppFolio to track leasing activity, rent payments, and resident information accurately. Conduct legal administrative tasks related to lease agreements, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other subsidized housing initiatives. Lead and supervise leasing agents or administrative staff to ensure high performance and excellent customer service standards. Handle conflict management effectively by addressing resident concerns promptly while maintaining positive relationships through excellent client communication skills. Maintain detailed records through data entry, filing systems, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to ensure operational efficiency. Upsell available units or amenities to prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing regulations and ethical sales practices. Coordinate with property maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the community's facilities. Skills Proven experience with property management software Appfolio. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing policies, and legal administrative procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette and in person. Skilled in rental agreement administration. Demonstrated team management capabilities with experience supervising staff in a property management setting.
