Job Description

The hardest part of starting in real estate isn't the license exam. It's the first ninety days, when nobody's calling you and nobody's told you what to do about it. Foraker Realty Co. has an office on the Concord Pike corridor in North Wilmington and headquarters at 135 E State St in Kennett Square. Family-owned — started 2021 with five agents, now 75 — and built around making sure a new agent has something real to work on Monday morning. No monthly fees. Ever. No desk fee, no tech fee. Spend that money on your own business instead.
What we hand you:
  • A live lead database of 30,000-50,000 contacts, open to every agent, filtered for who's actively looking right now
  • An inside sales agent who calls seller leads, qualifies them, and books the appointment for you
  • A mentor and a written 30-60-90 day plan with daily activity targets, not vague encouragement
  • Weekly training in the office, recorded so you can watch at night if you're still working another job
  • $250 professional photo and video on your listings
  • A transaction coordinator so your first contract doesn't blow up on paperwork
  • Software built in-house — CRM, e-sign, transaction tracking, automated listing marketing We're licensed in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland, which matters more than you'd think in New Castle County.
Your friend buying in Kennett or Elkton is still your client. We built this brokerage so that if you want to do this, you can. Everything a new agent normally has to buy or figure out alone is already here. The only thing we can't give you is the wanting.
Licensing:
You need a Delaware salesperson license or you need to be enrolled in a licensing course. Not started yet? Apply anyway — we'll tell you what it costs, how long it takes, and whether this business is right for you before you spend a dollar.
The honest version:
1099 independent contractor, commission only. No salary, no draw. Plan on 60-90 days before your first closing and have a runway to cover it. We'd rather lose you at the application stage than watch you wash out in month four. Career changer, freshly passed the exam, or licensed somewhere that's left you on your own — the application takes five minutes, or call 302-420-4616.
Pay:
$35,000.00
  • $92,000.
