Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Leasing Agent for the Lofts at Bahama Village to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the property management team in maintaining high standards of property upkeep and tenant satisfaction. This position requires a strong understanding of property management practices, including Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC, and proficiency in various software applications related to property management. Duties Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and LIHTC regulations. Coordinate property maintenance requests and oversee work orders using Yardi, Rent Cafe, and Site Manager software. Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate tenant records. Support the leasing process by conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements. Utilize property management software such as Yardi, Rent Cafe, and Site Manager for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests. Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction. Collaborate with the property management team to develop strategies for improving occupancy rates and tenant retention. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with Fair Housing and LIHTC regulations is essential. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective data entry and file management. Proficient in using property management software such as Yardi, Rent Cafe, and Site Manager; experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with tenants and team members. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
