As a Leasing Consultant, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for prospective and current residents. This position combines sales, customer service, marketing, and administrative responsibilities to help lease luxury apartment homes and provide the first-class service associated with the Epoch Residential brand. The ideal candidate is professional, proactive, organized, and genuinely enjoys helping people. Previous apartment leasing experience is helpful but not required; experience in sales or customer service is essential. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents Respond to phone and internet inquiries and convert leads into property tours and leases Conduct engaging community and apartment tours Maintain detailed knowledge of the community's apartments, amenities, policies, sister properties, and competitors Accurately enter prospect information and complete timely follow-up Prepare applications, leases, renewals, move-in materials, move-out requests, and other leasing documents Assist with marketing efforts, outreach, social media, and strategies designed to increase traffic and generate leads Develop positive relationships with residents and assist in addressing questions or concerns Monitor outstanding work orders and communicate with the maintenance team to support timely completion Help plan and conduct resident events Inspect the leasing office, tour route, vacant apartments, amenities, and community grounds to ensure they are clean, welcoming, and tour-ready Assist with routine property inspections and promptly report potential safety or security concerns Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, managing messages and work orders, filing, and ordering office supplies Perform other duties as needed to support the community and onsite team Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred At least one year of customer service or sales experience required Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills Professional, welcoming, and team-oriented attitude Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities Ability to work independently and use good judgment Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, the internet, and social media for community marketing Experience with property management or leasing software is a plus Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance required Schedule This position requires schedule flexibility, including the ability to work weekends and other days based on the community's staffing needs. Consistent attendance is essential, and occasional overtime may be required. Physical Requirements This position may require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and using a computer. The Leasing Consultant must be able to regularly climb stairs, bend, kneel, crouch, stand, and reach, as well as lift and carry up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
