Leasing Agent

We are looking for a positive and friendly experienced Leasing Agent to join our team in Macon, GA. The main job is to present and lease apartments to prospective lessors. The goal is to scout potential clients, turn them into actual ones, and achieve high occupancy rates. Our ideal candidate is professional, people oriented, organized, and confident in leasing apartments while maintaining strong resident relationships and high occupancy goals. Responsibilities Assist prospective residents by presenting apartment homes, amenities, and community features in a professional and welcoming manner Respond to inquiries through phone, email, and online platforms in a timely manner Conduct property tours and help match prospects with the best apartment options based on their needs Process rental applications and verify applicant information and references Maintain knowledge of current market trends and competitor pricing Promote available apartments through advertising, marketing materials, and online listings Prepare lease agreements and explain leasing terms and community policies Support resident retention efforts and provide excellent customer service throughout the leasing process Work closely with the property management team to help achieve occupancy goals Qualifications Previous experience as a Leasing Agent or in property management preferred Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills Ability to build rapport with prospective residents and close leases confidently Organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable using Microsoft Office and property management software Experience with Yardi, Knock, or RentCafe is a plus Professional attitude with a positive and team oriented mindset Skills Proven working experience as leasing agent Proven track of successful sales record Up to date with property market status MS Office familiarity Excellent communication and negotiation skills Persuasive with marketing and sales skills Customer service orientation Yardi/CRM/Rent Cafe experience a
