Job Description

Leasing Agent Locations:
One Arlington Who Are You? You are an experienced leasing agent, vibrant communicator with a passion for people and energy for sales. Taking charge of a sales funnel doesn't scare you- it's exciting! You love creating a hospitable environment where, from start-to-finish, every part of a resident's experience is both efficient and inviting. You possess an uncanny ability to rotate between detail-oriented task roles, and face-forward, people-oriented roles. You are adept at utilizing leasing software or technology, but also believe firmly in the power of a handwritten thank-you note. You wake up every morning ready to make the day a great one and are excited to join a team who shares the same energy. The Role & Qualifications You are the hub of sales and leasing activities, and feel comfortable leading out in all areas of the leasing process, from giving tours, to processing applications and preparing lease packages, to offering a warm welcome on move-in day. Ongoing learning and research in order to stay on top of happenings in the industry excites you, and you are creative in how you use that knowledge to help the company remain competitive and thriving in the market. You are familiar with the necessity of integrating strategic marketing efforts to help drive traffic to the space, and you're willing to collaborate to make them happen. You have the ability to learn and utilize new property management software systems that offer you the most up-to-date information on apartment availability and resident data, and you use this information to inform your marketing and sales strategy. Your eye for detail and strong communication skills ensure that the property, leasing office, and show units are compelling and tour-ready at all times, and that any maintenance needs are communicated within the team. You cultivate connection by following up with prospects and new residents by email, card, handwritten note, or phone call. You work hard to develop a thriving and long-lasting resident community by taking steps to ensure lease renewal. That may include preparing renewal letters and packages far in advance, or checking in and meeting with residents prior to move-out dates. You feel personally responsible for residents' satisfaction in the space, and quickly and courteously respond to any concerns- taking immediate action when possible, and communicating the need to the appropriate party when not. You have a can-do attitude and are willing to support the needs of the greater team through preparing accounting, financial, or administrative reports, and assisting with other duties as necessary.
