About the Position Established Schaumburg law firm is seeking a motivated Residential Real Estate Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to develop strong expertise in residential real estate transactions in a supportive, professional environment. The attorney will work closely with clients, lenders, real estate brokers, and other professionals and will have meaningful responsibility from the beginning. Responsibilities Handle residential real estate transactions from contract through closing Review and negotiate purchase and sale contracts Conduct title and survey review Prepare and review closing documents Communicate directly with clients, lenders, brokers, title companies, and opposing counsel Attend and conduct residential real estate closings Identify and resolve title, contract, financing, and closing issues Manage multiple transactions while meeting deadlines Provide practical, responsive legal advice to clients Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active Illinois law license 1-3 years of residential real estate experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple matters independently Professional, personable approach to client service Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment We are particularly interested in attorneys who want to build a long-term career in residential real estate and take on increasing responsibility.
