Full-Time About the Opportunity A well-established and highly respected law firm is seeking a talented Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney to join its growing private client practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer matters. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in trusts and estates law, intellectual curiosity, strong analytical abilities, and a genuine interest in developing expertise in complex estate and tax planning. Responsibilities Assist with sophisticated estate planning matters for high-net-worth individuals and families. Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents. Support planning strategies involving wealth transfer, estate tax, and gift tax considerations. Work with business owners and families on estate and succession planning matters. Assist with trust and estate administration. Conduct legal and tax-related research. Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex estate planning strategies. Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law. 3-5 years of Trusts & Estates experience. Experience working with high-net-worth clients is strongly preferred. Tax experience or a strong tax background is highly preferred. Experience advising business owners and families with significant assets is a plus. Strong drafting, analytical, research, and communication skills. Highly intelligent, curious, and motivated to learn complex legal and tax concepts. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sophisticated matters.
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
