$20.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience Occasional weekend availability required About the Role Are you an experienced leasing professional who enjoys variety, meeting new people, and stepping in where you can make an immediate impact? Garden Communities is seeking a confident, adaptable, and customer-focused Multi-Site Leasing Agent to provide leasing support across our Bergen County residential portfolio, including communities located in Fair Lawn, Ridgewood, Hackensack, and Dumont. Unlike a traditional leasing position assigned to one property, this role offers the opportunity to work across multiple communities. You may assist a property experiencing increased tour activity, provide coverage during vacations or staffing shortages, or support a team that needs additional leasing assistance. The ideal candidate will have prior residential leasing experience, strong follow-up skills, and the ability to transition smoothly between properties while providing every prospective and current resident with a consistent, professional experience. Responsibilities Travel between assigned Bergen County properties based on leasing activity and business needs Greet prospective residents and provide accurate information regarding apartment availability, rental rates, community features, and leasing requirements Conduct apartment and community tours professionally and confidently Respond promptly to telephone, email, online, and in-person leasing inquiries Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective residents regarding availability, applications, and next steps Assist prospective residents with rental applications and required documentation Support lease preparation, renewals, move-in coordination, and other leasing-related processes Maintain accurate prospect records, guest cards, leasing activity, and follow-up notes Become familiar with the layouts, amenities, policies, and availability at each assigned community Coordinate with property managers to understand daily priorities and provide support where it is needed most Assist with resident questions and general office responsibilities when providing property coverage Ensure model apartments, vacant units, leasing areas, and tour routes are ready for prospective residents Provide professional and dependable coverage during employee absences, vacations, periods of increased activity, and occasional weekends Deliver a welcoming and consistent customer experience at every community Qualifications Previous residential leasing or property management experience is strongly preferred Experience conducting apartment tours and following up with prospective residents Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills Professional, dependable, and comfortable working independently Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently Adaptable and able to become familiar with different properties, teams, and procedures Comfortable using email, online leasing platforms, and property management software Yardi experience is a plus Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between Bergen County properties are required Ability to work occasional weekends based on business needs What Makes This Role Different This position is ideal for someone who does not want every day to look the same.
