We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Leasing Specialist to support a residential property team in New Jersey. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with prospective and current residents in a fast-moving leasing environment. The person in this role will help guide prospects through tours, questions, applications, and day-to-day leasing office support while delivering a detail-oriented and welcoming experience.

Responsibilities:

Welcome prospective residents and create a positive first impression through detail-oriented, attentive front-line interaction. Explain apartment availability, community features, pricing details, and leasing procedures in a clear and engaging manner. Lead tours of model units and community spaces, tailoring each visit to the needs and interests of potential residents. Maintain timely communication with leasing inquiries and follow up with prospects to encourage continued interest. Assist with application processing by collecting required information and reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy. Keep prospect and resident records organized and update leasing activity in property management systems as needed. Build familiarity with the property, neighborhood highlights, and resident amenities to answer questions with confidence. Partner with on-site management and leasing staff to support occupancy goals and daily administrative operations. At least 2 years of experience in leasing, property administration, property management, hospitality, sales, or a customer-facing service role. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with prospective and current residents. Clear verbal and written communication skills suited to a detail-oriented leasing office environment. Confidence in presenting apartments and community features during in-person property tours. Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and perform effectively in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with residential property management practices; experience with Yardi software is preferred. Detail-oriented presentation and willingness to work a Tuesday through Saturday schedule.
