Post-Closing Recording Specialist

Job Description

Post-Closing Recording Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Post-Closing Recording Specialist to manage the submission, tracking, and completion of real estate documents following closing. This is a part-time position with flexible hours , making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced title and recording professional looking for a flexible work schedule. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with time-sensitive documents, and able to communicate effectively with clients. Contact outside the organization is primarily limited to title companies, law offices, county recording offices, and other industry partners. Attention to detail is essential, as even small errors can result in recording rejections or delays.
Responsibilities include:
Submit and track post-closing documents for recording with county offices. Review documents for completeness and recording requirements. Scan and email documents to other team members and clients Monitor recording status and follow up on outstanding submissions. Communicate with title companies, law offices, and county offices as needed. Maintain accurate records and update clients with recording information. Meet established turnaround times while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications:
A solid understanding of title and recording is required. Familiarity with ACRIS and PREP is required. Experience with CSC or Simplifile is required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working with confidential and legal documents. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned files. Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly. Pay:
$28.50 - $32.00 per hour
