Generate and distribute invoices related to real estate transactions. Administer the escrow function of depositing and releasing escrow deposits held for real estate transactions. Record receipts and deposits in appropriate software. Responsibilities Receive real estate commissions, make deposits and close sales Receive real estate escrow checks, make deposits/disbursements as needed and record activity Generate real estate commission invoices and distribute appropriately Communicate with branch administration, co-brokers and attorneys as needed for inquiries and to resolve discrepancies Record check deposits for ancillary companies daily and post corresponding journal entries Maintain an orderly accounting filing system Assist in entering Payables in a timely manner as needed Assist in Sales Processing as needed Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested Follow accounting policies and procedures Requirements Associates degree in business related field, or equivalent experience At least one year of banking experience, including payment and deposit processing Some knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles helpful but not required Detail oriented Strong written and verbal communications skills Ability to handle conflict in a tactful, professional manner
Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
