This position provides support to the property management team by ensuring that all occupancy activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a working knowledge of LIHTC (Section 42), HUD Handbook 4350.3, and HOME regulations. COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) certification is required within the first 60 days of employment. Proficiency in income calculation and eligibility certification procedures is essential with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills. TCS, HCCP or equivalent affordable housing certification is preferred along with experience in housing compliance software (Yardi).
