Directed Realty has been a licensed Texas real estate brokerage since 2012. We're launching a new division focused on commercial real estate and on buying and selling businesses, and we're looking for a small group of licensed agents to build it with us. We'll be upfront: the division is new. We aren't offering a business brokerage with years of results behind it. We're offering early access. Agents who join now will work directly with the broker/owner and help shape how the division runs.

ABOUT THE BROKER/OWNER

Joseph Landes has spent decades in real estate investing and transactions, and has owned Directed Realty since 2012. He owns and operates commercial real estate. He has more than 20 years of experience owning and running businesses, including buying and selling them himself. He looks at deals the way owners, operators and investors do, and that is the experience this division is built on.

YOU'LL WORK ON

• Listing and marketing commercial property, such as land, retail, storage and multifamily
• Representing buyers of commercial property
• Helping business owners prepare their businesses for sale and bring them to market
• Helping buyers evaluate and acquire businesses
• Building relationships with owners, investors and operators

REQUIREMENTS

• An active Texas real estate license (sales agent or broker). This is required.
• Comfort with 1099, commission-only income. There is no salary or draw.
• The ability to work in the Greater Houston / Pearland area
• Self-motivation and the ability to generate your own business
• Comfort with numbers, and curiosity about how properties and businesses make money
• Commercial experience is a plus but not required

COMPENSATION

This is an independent contractor (1099) position paid by commission only. There is no salary, hourly wage or draw. The pay range shown is potential annual commission earnings, not a guaranteed amount. What you earn depends on the transactions you close.
