Job Description

Real Estate Agent/ Commission-Based Real Estate Sales Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices | New England, New York, and Hudson Valley Properties Southington, CT Job Details Part-time | Full-time $5,000 - $150,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork Interpersonal skills Real Estate License Business development Marketing Full Job Description Real Estate Agent | Business Opportunities, Marketing & Growth Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties Are you looking for more than a place to hang your real estate license? As your business grows, what you need from your brokerage can change. More opportunities. Better marketing. Stronger resources. New ways to build your business. An environment that gives you more to work with—and helps you turn those resources into results. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties is looking for licensed and soon-to-be-licensed real estate professionals who want to build a productive, sustainable business with the opportunities, resources and support to help them grow. This is an independent contractor, commission-based opportunity for both experienced agents and those preparing to begin their real estate careers. What You'll Have Working for You More ways to create business opportunities through marketing, open houses, referrals, networking, company resources and strategies that help you connect with buyers and sellers Powerful marketing and technology resources that help you build your personal brand, stay connected to your sphere and compete for business The strength and credibility of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand behind your individual business Practical training and business-building strategies focused on generating business, strengthening your skills and creating greater consistency A collaborative environment where agents exchange ideas, experience, referrals and what's working in today's market Coaching, business planning and experienced support to help you identify opportunities, stay focused on your goals and have someone to turn to when you need guidance What You'll Be Building As a real estate professional, you'll develop client relationships, create new business opportunities and guide buyers and sellers through some of their most important real estate decisions. You'll prospect and build new relationships, stay connected to your sphere and past clients, develop listing and buyer opportunities, market yourself and your services, represent clients throughout their transactions and continually strengthen your knowledge of the market and the business. And you'll have a brokerage environment designed to support those efforts with resources, training, marketing, coaching and people you can turn to along the way. Already in the Business? You've already learned that success in real estate takes more than working hard. Maybe you're looking for more listing opportunities, stronger referral relationships, better ways to generate business from your sphere, greater visibility in the market or simply more opportunities to put yourself in front of buyers and sellers. The right brokerage can't build your business for you—but it can give you more ways to build it. You don't need someone telling you how to run your business. You need an environment that gives you the opportunities, resources, ideas and support to help you run it better. Just Getting Started? Passing the licensing exam teaches you how to become a real estate agent. It doesn't teach you how to build a real estate business. That's where the right start matters. You'll have access to structured training, coaching and hands-on guidance to help you develop the skills, habits and business-building activities that create opportunities and build momentum from the beginning. You won't be expected to figure everything out on your own. You'll have experienced people around you to answer questions, help you work through challenges and guide you as you learn how to turn your license into a business. Who We're Looking For We're looking for people who want more than a real estate license—they want to build a business. That means being willing to build relationships, follow up, create opportunities and consistently do the work that produces results. It also means being open to new ideas, continuing to develop your skills and making use of the resources and support around you. You don't need to have years of experience or have everything figured out. You do need initiative, professionalism, follow-through and a genuine commitment to taking care of your clients. Whether you're working toward your first transaction or your next level of production, the goal is the same: keep building, keep improving and create a business with room to grow year after year. An active Connecticut Real Estate Salesperson License is preferred, but candidates currently pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply. Prior real estate sales experience is not required. Compensation This is an independent contractor, commission-based real estate sales opportunity. Compensation is based on successfully closed transactions and individual production. This is not a salaried or hourly position. Maybe It's Worth a Conversation. You don't have to be unhappy with your current brokerage to wonder whether there's an environment that could offer you more. And you don't have to be ready to make a move to have that conversation. Whether you're starting your real estate career, looking for a stronger environment to grow your existing business, or simply curious about what might be different here, apply today. We'll start with a confidential conversation about where you are, where you'd like your business to go and whether what we offer could help you get there.
