In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective tenants, manage lease agreements, and support the overall leasing operations with precision and professionalism. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment, ensuring each potential resident receives exceptional customer service while adhering to fair housing regulations and property policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in property leasing, client communication, and property management tools within a collaborative team setting. Duties Greet prospective tenants warmly, provide detailed property tours, and answer all questions related to leasing options and community amenities Manage lease or rental agreement processes from application to move-in, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards such as landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations Utilize property management software like Yardi to input data, track applications, and maintain accurate records of leasing activities Conduct thorough background checks to ensure compliance with program requirements Handle client communication via phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism, courtesy, and clear information delivery Assist with conflict management by addressing tenant concerns promptly and effectively while maintaining positive relationships Support property maintenance coordination by communicating tenant needs and scheduling necessary repairs or inspections Experience Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, with familiarity using property management tools such as Yardi Strong knowledge of lease or rental agreement management, landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 housing programs Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to upsell available units or amenities confidently Experience in conflict resolution, negotiation, and contract management within a property leasing environment Office experience involving data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and client relationship management is highly desirable Background in facilities management or property maintenance coordination is a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in property leasing while providing outstanding service.
