PURPOSE OF POSITION

Leasing

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Market the properties through cold-calls, e-mail and mass mailers. Attend and market the properties through ICSC trade shows locally and nationally. Field calls/emails from prospects inquiring about leasing space in shopping centers, quote rents and availability; forward marketing information via U.S. mail and email to prospects; meet prospects at property/shopping center to show them the unit they are interested in; quote and negotiate rent, Landlord build-out, other terms for a lease; relay information to leasing assistant to draft leases, extensions, modifications, terminations to tenants; prepare and update marketing information for CoStar, LoopNet, company web page and email blasts to brokerage community and renew/modify terms of lease with tenants. Communicate with owners, property management, accounting as well as other agents and brokers within SL Nusbaum and agents and brokers in and outside of the Hampton Roads community. Knowledge of Hampton Roads' trade area - including current availability and market rents. Diligently perform other duties assigned by employee's supervisor. Perform other essential functions as may develop over time, and/or as assigned by management.

Assist in annual budgets.

: Obtain and maintain Virginia Real Estate License. Be a member of ICSC and attend related functions/trade shows when necessary.
