THE NEED

Leasing Consultant needed in Virginia Beach. The ideal candidate will have experience completing leasing, and administrative tasks with great attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years of leasing experience preferred. Prior experience with Yardi management systems a plus. Knowledge of the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act (VRLTA) and Fair Housing Laws.

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS

Self-motivated, detail oriented and reliable. Can establish relationships quickly and easily with a diverse group of people. Has a high energy level and great customer service skills. Goal oriented and results focused.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leasing Consultant responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Record and maintain all resident information in Yardi. Collect monies for application fees, security deposits, rent, etc., as per policy and guidelines. Update available marketing tools as needed. Schedule appointments with prospective applicants. Answer phone calls using the phone script guidelines. Notify applicant(s) of approval and schedule the lease package signing. - United Property Associates (UPA) was founded in 1978 in response to the need for quality property management in Hampton Roads for apartment communities, homeowner and condominium associations, and single family homes.
