Your goal is to assist customers in selecting the right tools for their projects while driving sales and ensuring a positive rental experience. Full-time Duties include: Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their tool rental needs. Provide detailed product information, demonstrations, and recommendations based on customer requirements. Assist customers with selecting appropriate tools and accessories for their projects. Process rental transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems. Educate customers on proper tool usage, safety procedures, and rental policies. Upsell additional products or services to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rental area to ensure a safe shopping environment. Manage rental agreements, returns, and maintenance schedules efficiently. Address customer questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat business. Experience in one or more of the following: Tool or equipment rental counter (preferred) Car or truck rental Auto parts counter or service desk Construction supply or building materials sales Inside sales with frequent phone and in-person customer interaction Strong customer service and phone skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and willingness to learn rental software Reliable transportation and strong attendance Preferred experience : Direct tool or equipment rental experience Bilingual English/Spanish Familiarity with common contractor tools and equipment
