Job Description
Our client is a growing real estate investment firm focused exclusively on Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS). As the company continues expanding its national portfolio, they are looking for a relationship-driven professional to help identify new leasing opportunities, source acquisitions and build meaningful connections throughout the IOS industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys business development, commercial real estate and networking, and wants to play a direct role in growing an investment platform. What You'll Do Grow the Portfolio Develop relationships with owners, brokers, tenants and industry professionals across the Industrial Outdoor Storage market. Identify new leasing opportunities and help market available properties. Support lease negotiations from initial conversations through execution. Source on-market and off-market acquisition opportunities. Maintain a pipeline of leasing prospects and investment opportunities. Build Industry Relationships Represent the company at industry events, broker meetings and networking functions. Become a trusted resource within the IOS community. Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and future opportunities. Support Transactions Partner with the acquisitions team throughout due diligence and closing. Coordinate with buyers, sellers, brokers, lenders and attorneys during transactions. Research market trends, rental rates and competitive properties to support investment decisions. What We're Looking For Experience in commercial real estate, industrial real estate or Industrial Outdoor Storage. Strong networking and relationship-building skills. A self-starter who enjoys creating business opportunities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and CRM software. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Preferred Experience Experience leasing Industrial Outdoor Storage properties. Experience sourcing acquisitions or investment opportunities. Existing relationships with brokers, owners, tenants or investors. Knowledge of industrial land, truck parking, contractor yards, trailer storage or similar industrial assets. Familiarity with secondary and tertiary industrial markets.
