Spirit & Wind Boutique - Van Buren, Arkansas Part-Time | 24-32 Hours Per Week | Potential for Full-Time Spirit & Wind Boutique is looking for a vibrant, motivated and hardworking sales professional to join our team. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves fashion, has a natural ability to connect with customers, and understands that great boutique sales are about more than ringing up a purchase. You should enjoy helping women find pieces they love, putting outfits together, making recommendations, and creating an enjoyable shopping experience. Strong sales skills are very important for this position. This is also a fast-paced, hands-on job. We need someone who takes initiative, pays attention to detail, stays productive, and doesn't need to be constantly told what to do next. What You'll Do Your responsibilities will include: Greet, assist, style and actively sell to customers Help customers put together outfits and recommend coordinating pieces Learn our merchandise and confidently communicate fit, sizing and styling Operate our Shopify POS system Assist with creating and maintaining online product listings Receive and process new inventory Unpack, steam, tag and prepare clothing for the sales floor Merchandise clothing and create attractive boutique displays Rearrange the sales floor as new merchandise arrives Keep the boutique clean, organized and visually appealing Help create fashion videos, Reels and other social-media content Be comfortable appearing on camera and showcasing clothing Participate in live selling as needed Work closely with the rest of our team and be willing to jump in wherever needed Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is outgoing, polished, dependable, confident and mature , with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in fashion. We would especially like someone who: Has previous retail sales or customer-facing sales experience Has an engaging, vibrant personality Is comfortable approaching customers and initiating conversations Knows how to sell without making customers feel pressured Has a good eye for fashion and styling Presents themselves professionally Is comfortable being photographed or appearing in fashion videos Is willing to participate in live selling Is comfortable learning technology and using Shopify Can multitask and stay organized Notices what needs to be done and takes initiative Is dependable and punctual Works well as part of a team Is willing to work hard and stay productive throughout a shift Experience with Shopify, boutique retail, fashion styling, social media, content creation or live selling is a plus. Please Understand the Nature of This Position This is not a position where you will spend the majority of your shift sitting or waiting for customers to come to the register. Running a boutique involves constant activity. On any given day, you may be helping a customer style an outfit, checking her out, unpacking a shipment, steaming and tagging new arrivals, rearranging a display, creating a Shopify listing, filming a fashion video and helping clean and organize the store. We need someone who likes to stay busy, takes pride in their work and understands the importance of teamwork. Schedule This position is currently part-time with a minimum of approximately 24 hours per week , with the potential to develop into a full-time position for the right person.

The potential to need evening hours during the weekdays from 1:00 PM-8:00 PM (Some nights can run later) Be flexible if the schedule changes to a daytime 11-6. Saturdays Flexibility for additional hours when needed is a plus About Spirit & Wind Spirit & Wind is an independently owned women's fashion boutique in historic downtown Van Buren. We offer distinctive clothing and accessories and serve customers both in-store and online . We are building a strong presence through our boutique, e-commerce, social media, fashion content and live selling. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of that growth.
