From hand-crafted local gifts and apparel to unique Western keepsakes, we pride ourselves on providing a friendly, memorable, and high-quality shopping experience. Position Overview We are seeking an energetic, independent, and versatile Retail Sales Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our shop four days a week. You must be comfortable working solo, running daily retail operations, and keeping the store looking sharp while providing top-notch customer service. Key Responsibilities Store & Solo Operations:

o Open and close the retail store independently on assigned workdays. o Manage total floor operations during shifts, including welcoming visitors, answering questions, and assisting with purchasing decisions. o Maintain store security, cashiering accuracy, and overall store presentation.

Customer Service & Sales:

o Deliver warm, welcoming Southwestern hospitality to all guests. o Share product knowledge regarding replicas, souvenirs, gifts, and apparel. o Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

POS & Inventory Support:

o Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system. o Assist management with POS inventory reports, stock tracking, and spot counts. o Receive, unpack, price, and display new inventory arrivals. o Monitor stock levels on the sales floor and replenish items as needed.

Store Merchandising & Maintenance:

o Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and visually appealing. o Perform basic light cleaning duties (sweeping, dusting displays, trash removal) to maintain an inviting shop environment.

Qualifications & Skills Work Ethic & Autonomy:

Strong ability to work solo, manage time efficiently, and take full ownership of the shop during scheduled shifts.

Problem-Solving:

Strong critical-thinking skills with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to unexpected situations quickly.

Multitasking:

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities at once (e.g., ringing up a sale, answering a customer question, and restocking displays).

Technical Skills:

Familiarity or comfort with POS retail systems and basic computer skills to generate inventory reports.

Experience:

1+ years of retail sales, customer service, and supervisory experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and move box inventory up to 30 lbs.
