We offer surfboard/wetsuit/body board rentals, fishing equipment, and a curated selection of men's and women's apparel and accessories. Our goal is to make every customer's beach day unforgettable—whether they're catching their first wave or gearing up for a full day on the beach here in Cayucos.

Position Overview:

We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Surf Shop Associate. This role is perfect for someone who loves the ocean, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers with surfboard, wetsuit, and beach equipment rentals Provide basic guidance on surf conditions, gear selection, and safety Help customers find clothing, accessories, and fishing gear that suit their needs Operate the register and handle transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and rental equipment Set up and break down rental equipment daily Inspect and maintain surfboards, fishing gear, and beach rentals Deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude

Qualifications:

Passion for surfing, fishing, or beach lifestyle Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, 1-3 days per week, including weekends and holidays Comfortable working outdoors and lifting equipment (20-50 lbs) Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
