The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping customers find the best products for themselves or their pets. This role comes with stated pay rate plus comission. We requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic retail environment. Knowledge of Shopify POS is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying their needs. Provide expert guidance on products and services, ensuring a positive shopping experience.

• Product Knowledge:

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the store's products and services. Be prepared to answer questions and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.

• Sales Support:

• Actively promote sales, upsell products, and contribute to achieving monthly sales goals. Handle transactions accurately using the Shopify POS system.

• Store Presentation:

• Create and maintain an inviting store atmosphere. Arrange displays and ensure that merchandise is well-stocked and organized. Use creativity to enhance the shopping experience.

• Administrative Tasks:

• Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for various administrative tasks as needed.

• Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Participate in meetings and contribute ideas for improving customer service and store performance.

• Physical Requirements:

• Be prepared to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs as needed. Maintain physical stamina to stand and move throughout the store during shifts.

• Availability:

• Must be available to work on Saturdays and flexible with scheduling to meet store needs.

• Qualifications:

• Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail, business, or a related field is a plus.

• Experience:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

• Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with Shopify POS is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Sales Experience in product placement, and movement.

• Language Skills:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred to enhance communication with a diverse customer base.
