Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service, addressing their needs with professionalism and enthusiasm Educate customers on product features, effects, and usage through engaging product demos and detailed explanations Assist customers in selecting products that best suit their preferences and needs, upselling where appropriate to enhance their experience Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and visually appealing Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and assist with stock rotation to keep the sales floor fresh and inviting Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or taking orders remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times Requirements Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar customer-focused environment Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration abilities Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, retail math, and inventory management Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases Experience with POS systems and cashiering processes to ensure smooth transactions Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos to enhance the shopping environment Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Familiarity with cannabis or related products is preferred but not required; willingness to learn industry-specific knowledge Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering top-tier service in a vibrant retail setting.
