This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in sales, and wants the opportunity to earn more based on performance. Compensation Hourly Base Pay + Commission Earning Opportunity This position provides a guaranteed hourly rate. Sales associates also earn commission based on their sales performance. When earned commissions exceed the employee's hourly earnings for the applicable pay period, the employee is paid the higher commission amount in accordance with our compensation plan. This gives you the security of hourly pay while also providing the opportunity to increase your earnings through strong sales performance. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Help customers find furniture that fits their needs, style, and budget Learn about our furniture, mattresses, promotions, and financing options Guide customers through the sales process from selection to purchase Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom Follow up with customers when appropriate Work toward individual and store sales goals Assist with general showroom duties as needed What We're Looking For Friendly and comfortable speaking with customers Motivated by sales and earning opportunities Dependable and professional Willing to learn about furniture and home furnishings Strong communication and customer service skills Able to work as part of a team Availability to work weekends and some holidays Previous retail or sales experience is helpful, but not required Schedule Part-Time Weekend availability is preferred.
